Terms and Conditions
By booking a stay at Boutique B&B La Quiete del Bosco, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Booking and Payment
- Reservations: Bookings can be made through our website, by contacting us directly or by partners.
- Accommodation Payment: Payment must be made at the time of booking, or as specified in your booking process.
- Extras: Any outstanding balances for services used during the stay, such as meals, additional amenities, or other charges, must be paid on site at the time of check-out.
We accept the following payment methods:- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Twint
- Cash (for on-site payments only):
We accept cash payments exclusively in Swiss Francs (CHF). Any change will also be provided solely in Swiss Francs (CHF).
- Deposit: A deposit of 150 CHF is required to secure your booking (for online payments) or it must be paid upon arrival. The deposit will be refunded at check-out if everything is in order (less any deductions for the following) or within a maximum of 5 days for online payments. This deposit will be used to cover potential costs such as:
- Damage to the room or property: Including broken furniture, stained carpets, or any other damage beyond normal wear and tear.
- Excessive cleaning: If the room is left unusually dirty, requiring additional cleaning beyond the standard service.
- Violations of house rules: Any breaches of our house rules, such as unauthorized smoking, which may result in extra cleaning or maintenance fees.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation by Guest: Cancellation, if permitted, depends on the platform through which the booking was made and must be requested directly via that same portal.
- Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel your booking under certain circumstances, such as overbooking or unforeseen events.
3. Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-In: Check-in is available from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. However, we can accommodate later check-ins upon request and subject to availability. Please contact us after booking to arrange a specific time. This ensures that someone will be available to welcome you on site.
- Check-Out: By 10:00 AM. Late check-out available upon request, subject to availability and an additional fee.
4. Use of Premises and Services
- Guest Conduct: Guests must behave respectfully and follow our house rules. Any damages caused will be charged to the guest.
- Meals: Please note that we serve only plant-based (vegan) food at our B&B. Guests are welcome to enjoy our carefully curated, seasonal vegan meals during their stay. No animal products will be served or permitted in the dining areas.
- Use of Facilities: Please use all facilities and amenities in accordance with their intended use. Report any damage or issues immediately to avoid additional charges.
- Restricted Areas: Access to certain areas of the property is restricted. Some areas are under construction, others are reserved to ensure the privacy of the property, as we live adjacent to the B&B. Unauthorized entry into these restricted zones is not permitted and may result in additional charges or termination of your stay. Please respect all signage and do not enter these restricted zones to ensure your safety and maintain the privacy of the property.
We apologize in advance for any occasional noise due to renovation or maintenance work on the property.
5. House Rules
To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, we kindly ask you to adhere to the following house rules:
- Respectful Conduct: Please behave respectfully towards our property and other guests. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in additional charges or termination of your stay.
- No Smoking: Smoking is prohibited inside the B&B and anywhere on the property. Please use the designated smoking area.
- Pets: We have two rooms, but pets are allowed only in the Sottobosco room. Subject to an additional fee.
- Noise Levels: To maintain a peaceful environment, please keep noise to a minimum, especially during late hours.
- Visitors: Only registered guests are permitted on the property. Any visitors must be approved by the owners in advance.
- Security: Ensure that all doors and windows are securely closed when leaving the property.
- Damage and Loss: You are responsible for any damage or loss to the property. Any damages will be charged to your deposit or, if necessary, billed separately.
We appreciate your cooperation in following these rules to help us maintain a welcoming and comfortable environment.
6. Liability
We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury to guests or their belongings during their stay, except as required by law.
Being located in the mountains, we cannot be held responsible for the inaccessibility of the property due to weather conditions, snow, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
Winter season: access to the property may be affected by snow or adverse weather conditions. Guests are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary means (winter gear, four-wheel drive (4×4) or snow chains) to reach the property. We strongly advise checking weather conditions and making appropriate arrangements before arrival.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Any changes will be posted on our website.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Switzerland.
